BPI-RECOGNISED LABORATORY

Lab-Control is a testing laboratory recognised by BPI, the well-known body promoting the circular economy in the United States of America. The recognition includes performing laboratory tests for compostability testing, according to ASTM D6400 and, if applicable, in connection with ASTM D6868 and/or ASTM D8410 Customers interested in such tests for their products may contact Lab-Control. Lab-Control will be able to perform the laboratory tests to be then submitted to BPI for compostability certification of the products of interest.

WORKSHOP RECOGNISED DIN CERTCO

Lab-Control is a testing laboratory recognised by DIN CERTCO (certificate PL 299), the well-known and internationally recognised German certification body. Recognition includes the performance of laboratory tests for domestic and industrial compostability tests according to various certification schemes, which are awarded the appropriate quality mark by DIN Certco. Customers interested in such quality marks for their products can contact Lab-Control. The laboratory will be able to liaise with the certifying body and perform the laboratory tests to be submitted to DIN CERTCO for the compostability certification of the products of interest. Specifically, the laboratory tests may concern the following products and compostability certification schemes. Additives according to DIN EN 13432 Harmless additives certification scheme for composting process Business Process Improvement (BPI) certification scheme Commercial compostability certification scheme BPI - 25 Compostable products, resins and intermediates according to ASTM D6400 and, if applicable, in connection with ASTM D6868 and/or ASTM D8410 Organic waste bags made from compostable materials Certification scheme Organic waste bags made from compostable materials Products made from compostable materials Products made from compostable materials for home and garden composting Certification scheme for products made from compostable materials for home and garden composting.

BIODEGRADABLE PACKAGING EN 13432

Il Ministero della Transizione ecologica ha pubblicato i criteri e le modalità per usufruire del credito d’imposta per l’acquisto da parte delle imprese di prodotti derivanti da plastica riciclata, imballaggi biodegradabili e compostabili certificati EN 13432:2002, in carta, cartone, legno e imballaggi derivanti dal riciclo della carta e dell’alluminio. LAB-CONTROL è accreditata ISO 17025 per l’effettuazione dei test e l’emissione dei rapporti di prova secondo la EN 13432:2002. LAB-CONTROL è inoltre in grado di effettuare le prove previste dalla norme serie UNI 10667 per la certificazione delle materie plastiche secondarie.
